Solution of HP Printer in Error State
In
case you find your HP Printer in Error
State Support, the first thing that you should check is whether your
printer is connected with a proper port or not. Errors in connection is the
most common problem which will show you the message HP Printer in Error State Support. In case that is the case, then
you can simply fix the connections and plug the device to its appropriate port
to solve the problem. But in case that is not the cause of the problem, then a
few other steps you can take are to restart your HP printer, and check if the
printer status shows ‘online’ or not. To fix this problem, you should ensure
that your printer status is ‘online’. This can be done by following these
steps:
- Click on ‘start’ and then on the
‘control panel’ button
- From that menu, select the ‘Devices
and Printers’ option
- If the printer status is ‘online’,
then it will show ‘Ready’
- In case is does not show ‘Ready’,
right click on the printer icon and then select the ‘Use Printer Online’
option, as this will now change the status successfully.
On
the other hand, if you are trying to solve the problem by restarting, keep in
mind that both the device (which here refers to your desktop or laptop) as well
as the printer needs to be shut down and then restarted. In case the paper tray
is not loaded, it might also cause the HPPrinter in Error State Support to be displayed, and so you should also keep
a check on the positioning and the condition of the paper tray. Also, if you
are loading paper onto the paper tray, then you must be careful about the fact
that the printer is not working or processing any print jot at that time. It is
advisable that you shut the printer down, load the paper correctly, and then
restart it for printing tasks.
