Fix Brother Printer Error Code E9 with Printerfixes
Over the years, Brother Printer has established a reliable client-base by ensuring high-end service and printing products. With the advancement of technology, they have also adopted and utilized them at its best and manufactured a series of cutting-edge printers. Still, at times some errors are denoted on display similar to different other brands. Various reasons are responsible for the technical shortfall such as hardware issue, interruption caused by foreign bodies, corrupted printer driver, virus attacks and more. If you ever come across with an E9 Error in your Brother Printer, the interruption can be caused by two reasons -

Finally, if you find that the issue persists, it’s better to call a technician from Brother Printer. When none of the tips for troubleshooting worked, there might be some serious mechanical malfunctioning causing the interruption of the printing and keep displaying the E1 error.

Step 1
- Use your both hands to open the scanner cover
- You’ll find the support arm of the scanner on the left-hand side of the machine
- If you didn’t see the handle, then use the user manual for opening the scanner cover
- After opening the cover, carefully check the printer thoroughly and if you find any pieces of paper or a paper clip of any piece of tape there, remove them carefully.
- Manually, move the printer head from left- right and again from right-left to check the presence of any foreign body interrupting the printing and causing the E9 error. By pressing the ‘X’ button- you can shift the printer head from right to left for checking the paper pieces on it.
- By keeping the scanner cover open, turn the printer towards you and check the back side of the machine.
- Open the Jam Clear Cover carefully
- Thoroughly check the place and try to find out any paper scrap creating the hassle
- Now, close the Clear jam cover and turn the printer
- By holding the finger holder, carefully close the scanner cover.
- Disconnect the power cord for at least 60 seconds and then again replug
- Now, print a Print Quality Check Sheet (PQCS)
- Press on the touchscreen of your printer
- By pressing upper and lower keys, find Improve Print Quality and press it
- Now press Check Print Quality
- Now, press ‘Start’ and the PQCS will start printing
